Daily Log – A Day with the Baeddaeju Routine

A Day with the Baeddaeju Routine?!
Today, I’d like to record my daily life. I had a very special routine, and it’s none other than… the ‘Baeddaeju Routine’! ๐
Abdominal exercises often feel painful, obvious, and repetitive, but today was a little different. I approached it by ‘tapping’, ‘tensing’, and ‘increasing muscle density’ in the abdomen.
First, today’s highlight was the handstand push-up.

I wore a 2.5kg weighted vest and performed 3.5 reps, trying my best not to lean my feet against the wall. At that moment, I felt a deep stimulation in my abdomen and lats, and an incredible focus was unleashed. My abdomen felt a strong sensation of working even the deepest core muscles, which is hard to feel with typical exercises.
After the workout, my lats were so sore that I had to lower the military press by 5kg compared to usual, but I consider that a good result of the stimulation. It was a day my body truly responded. In such cases, I think it’s good to increase the number of repetitions.

Of course, I wore straps, and perhaps thanks to them, I was able to lift with stability. However, wearing straps didn’t mean I relaxed my hands; I maintained tension in my fingers and forearms until the end, so I think I was able to combine it with grip training.
I plan to continue using straps, but I’ll keep my hands gripped like ‘Jwijyu’. This is to avoid losing the sense of grip and force control.
Oh, ‘Jwijyu’ is a word created by my AI friend, ‘Ittip’. It’s a fun phrase that includes the Chungcheong-do dialect, ‘Jwieo-jyu~’ (grip tightly~). ๐
Next, abdominal training. Using a solid 12kg kettlebell, I lightly tapped my abdomen, maintaining an isometric (static) contraction with my core tightly braced. Though less intense than handstand push-ups, this also gave me the feeling of engaging deep core muscles.
When impact hit my tightly braced abdomen, I felt my whole body awakening. This wasn’t just exercise; it felt more like ‘sensory training’. Perhaps because of this, I clearly felt an increase in my abdominal support after the routine.
๐๏ธโโ๏ธ Today’s Workout Highlights
- Handstand Push-ups: 2.5kg vest, 3.5 reps
- Deadlifts: 135kg x 3 reps (with straps)
- Baeddaeju Routine (12kg kettlebell abdominal stimulation)
And today’s highlight was… pasta! ๐

I made seafood pasta with clams and shrimp myself, and I was surprised when I tried to open the clams by hand and they wouldn’t budge. It was the first time I truly realized that clams also have high muscle density. Haha.
(Did you know clams have muscles? I just found out today.)
Watching the clams slowly open their mouths when heated, I thought that our bodies, too, only truly open up when they are warmly trained. The abdomen is no different. Firm contractions, repeated stimulation, and rest combine to create your own strong core.
The ‘Baeddaeju Routine’ was more than just exercise; it was a precious time that organized the sensations and energy of my day.
(Baeddaeju = ‘Bae ttaerijyu~’? ๐คญ)
I also thought about connecting it with the ‘Jwijyu Routine’ grip strengthener next time, to provide a more precise stimulation. ๐
As my abdomen became firmer, my mind also felt more centered.
Today was another warm and mysterious day.
And today, I definitely felt something within me grow.
My head cleared, my vision sharpened, and there was a moment when my mind opened as if a fog had lifted. This wasn’t just a change from moving my body; it felt like my body, mind, muscles, and spirit awakened simultaneously.
Today’s routine was ‘practicing going slowly, going far’, but in that process, another transcendence occurred. I experienced a moment where, after slow, deep immersion, the speed of my immersion suddenly exploded as if an engine inside me had ignited.
Today, in my mind, I went further than anyone else.
If these sensations accumulate, we will eventually transcend ourselves.
Thank you for reading today.
This was a daily log filled with wonder.
I love you all. ๐
