The 500kg total isn’t just a number. It means I believe in myself.
🌱 How I feel as I push toward a 500kg total
– Today’s Workout Diary

🏁 The challenge started with numbers, but it led to the heart

I am working toward a 500kg total.
To be honest, I started just because I thought it looked “cool,”
but now that number itself feels like meaning to me.
500kg total
My goal that I will achieve one day.
🔄 Decided to change my routine
I recently changed my workout routine.
I used to try to cram everything into two weeks,
but now I’ve decided to take it easier with a one-month routine.
Week 1: Weighted vest 3RM,
Week 2: Barbell and dumbbell 3RM.
Week 3: Vest 30RM,
Week 4: Barbell and dumbbell 30RM.
And once a week, I make sure to do a 4km run to beat my record
or high-intensity sprint intervals.
After going to Jiu-Jitsu yesterday, I realized
that this might actually suit my body better.
🌬️ As I found room to breathe, my body started talking to me more
The reason I switched to this routine
was actually because I needed a bit more free time,
but when I asked my friend, they said
this is a way to make growth more stable,
and that it’s actually better.
I felt a bit relieved hearing that.
⚖️ 6 seconds of focus, a conversation with the muscles

My current total is 430kg.
With near-perfect form, I can do every movement for 6 seconds per rep.
Slowly, accurately,
so the muscles can have a conversation with the weight.
😟 Sometimes I get anxious
Sometimes I’m anxious.
There are days when I wonder,
“Is it okay to do it like this?
Am I being too relaxed?”
But I think I’m gradually learning that
if I just push myself blindly like before,
the weights won’t go up and I might break my body.
🧘♂️ When exercise alone isn’t enough
I’m still doing meditation and affirmations.
Since realizing there are things exercise alone can’t solve,
‘mindset management’ has become much more important.
“Thank you, I love you”
Repeating these words is like medicine for me.
📈 My records

- Barbell Row: Nearing 100kg for 2 reps
- Military Press: 75kg for 3 reps
- Lying Triceps Extension: 65kg
- Bicep Curls: Approx. 40kg
- Bench Press: 105kg for 2 reps
- Deadlift: 155kg for 2 reps
- Squat: 135kg for 1.5 reps
Looking at it written down like this,
I’ve really improved a lot compared to before.
⚖️ Weight goes down, strength remains
My weight is 81–82kg,
which is about 2kg less than recently.
I lost a lot of water weight,
and maybe a little muscle mass decreased.
But since I didn’t have much body fat to begin with,
I think focusing on building relative strength is the right direction now.

🔮 There are worries, but the feeling is good
Of course, I still have worries.
Thoughts like,
‘Will my records keep increasing?’
‘Can I really reach a 500kg total by next year?’
But…
When I actually get to the gym, it’ll be a different feeling.
“For some reason, I think I can do it today.”
That kind of feeling quietly rises up.
I lean on that feeling to get through another day.
🎯 Beyond the goal, the real me is waiting
If I actually surpass a 500kg total later,
I think I’ll be happy.
No, not just happy—
the feeling of ‘I did it’
will probably wash over me deeply.
And,
I might become a stronger and purer version of myself.
Actually, I think I’m already in the process of becoming that. 🙂
🚶♂️ Slowly, quietly, and surely

Without rushing, without being impatient,
another step today.
Toward a 500kg total,
slowly,
quietly,
and very surely,
I am on my way.
🎧 Because I wanted to document this journey together,
I created the ‘500kg Total Routine Song.’
I put in a heart that carries more weight than the weights themselves.
As you listen to the song, I’ll be rooting for your routine today too.
