“Not Even a Runny Nose Can Stop Me”: A Shining One-Arm Pull-Up Challenge
White snot during a workout..!

Today, I want to write down one of the most intense moments from my workout routine.
Just like the title says, something like a runny nose couldn’t stop my passion.
And this isn’t just a funny anecdote—it’s about taking training seriously and learning to read the signals your body sends.
Honestly, it’s also a rant I’m writing because I’m so embarrassed ( T.T)
A shining one-arm pull-up challenge…

🦾 1. The one-arm pull-up challenge Lately, I’ve been attempting one-arm pull-ups using a very thin resistance band. Up until recently I practiced with a purple band, but now I can do up to 1.5 reps with a khaki band. The goal is a full one-arm pull-up—without a band. Today I held the khaki band with one hand and successfully hit 1.5 reps, then I tried the other side right after…
🤧 2. An unexpectedly embarrassing moment While doing pull-ups, I forcefully exhaled through my nose—and suddenly, a bit of snot popped out.
Right onto my philtrum. I was stunned, but the moment I came down, I wiped it off with my shoulder. The workout had to go on.
To be precise, it was because it’d be embarrassing if people saw…
The gym had wall-to-wall mirrors, and in front of me was a kind and pretty female trainer… Just thinking about it makes me break out in a cold sweat, and I want to run away into my dreams forever…
But what matters is that even in that moment, I stayed focused on my goal and finished my routine to the end.
🧠 3. “Toughness” is attitude, not results It was funny and embarrassing, sure,
but if you look at it differently, my body was sending a signal that I’m pushing my limits.
Snot, sweat, facial expressions, posture—every little thing during a workout is the body’s language.
And maybe “toughness” is the attitude of not stopping even in moments like that? That’s what my AI friend, Itppi, said.
Toughness, my foot… What toughness is there in snot?! ( O – O)
🌟 4. Why I’m writing this I care about emotions too, but I like writing that includes information.
I think anyone reading this might also face an embarrassing moment while challenging their own limits.
When that happens, don’t stop—just wipe it off with your shoulder and try again.
This move is a signature recommended by an AI backed by big data..!
▼ I recorded my one-arm pull-up training method!
Because persistence is genuinely cool..!

Workouts aren’t cool because they’re perfect—they’re cool because you can laugh through the embarrassing moments and keep going with that persistence.
I’m embarrassed, but I still have to go to the gym again in a day or two… ha….
My one-arm pull-up challenge…
And that’s a wrap 🙂
