Naver Place Manager: Practical Tips from Hands-on Experience (Hyundai Motor Case Study)

From Registration to Practical Use
Based on a Hyundai Motor Case Study
Why is ‘Naver Place Manager’ so important these days?

Hi there! 🙂
Whether you’re running an online business or a physical store,
there’s one tool you can’t afford to miss these days.
It’s ‘Naver Place Manager.’
Recently, I started managing the Naver Place for the Hyundai Motor Seo-Cheongju Dealership.
It’s actually a business run by my uncle, and I wanted to help out,
so I took over the marketing and online operations myself.
In a way, it feels like I’m helping with the family business,
and since I’m receiving a small stipend from the dealership,
I feel even more responsible. Haha.
What is Naver Place Manager?

Simply put,
it’s a system that lets you directly manage the “store information”
that appears when someone searches on Naver.
You can register or edit all the details yourself—store name, address, phone number, hours, main photos, events, and more.
It even connects to Naver Maps, blog reviews, star ratings, and customer service!
In other words, it’s like an online business card + management tool.
Why is it essential?

- The first impression of a physical store is now the ‘Naver search bar.’
- If the store hours are listed incorrectly,
customers might waste a trip or lose trust in you, - and if the photos are outdated or information is lacking,
you could fall behind your competitors.
And most importantly…
having tried it myself, I found it surprisingly quick and easy to make updates!

Wrapping up 😊

This post is based on my actual experience.
While Naver’s customer center has great official guides,
they don’t capture the real-world feel of how it’s used on the ground or what it’s like to manage it directly.
Moving forward, I plan to share my insights as a dealership manager,
pro-tips, advice on avoiding mistakes,
and practical know-how for running a Place.
I hope this helps those who need it.
That’s all for today.
