So far, the scientific community hasn’t produced research proving skull growth caused by meditation.
However, an increase in gray matter density or volume has been clearly demonstrated,
and changes that permanently restructure neural circuits or brain function have also been confirmed.
Meditation research was once seen as little more than a “meaningless mental habit,”
but now dozens of physiological effects—such as emotional healing, stress reduction, hormone regulation, and pain relief—
have been scientifically proven.
In that context, an increase in skull size might also be something that gets proven someday.
In fact, among long-time Eastern practitioners,
there are quite a few stories passed down about increases in brain size or changes in head shape.

🧘 Can your head really get bigger?
I can speak to that question.
“Yes, it’s actually possible.”
Back when I was 179 cm tall, I consistently practiced brain meditation and breath-focused concentration.
As a result, a few years later, I changed to 180.9 cm.
It wasn’t simply posture correction or exercise—
it was an experience where my whole-body balance shifted along with physical changes in the brain.
The brain can grow depending on the flow of energy.
And that flow usually arrives in deep meditation, focused stillness, and moments of bliss.
The most surprising moments were like this.
When an intense discomfort hit and I felt like moving,
if I noticed it and focused only on my breath,
a tremendous stillness and bliss would wrap around my whole body,
and in that moment, I could intuitively feel, “My brain got bigger.”And when I actually touched my skull,
the crown, forehead, back of my head, and sides were physically larger.

Precautions
- Be careful: sitting for a long time in an uncomfortable posture on a chair can increase the risk of inflammation/abscess.
→ For beginners, a cushion and a comfortable posture are essential! - Meditating while lying flat on your back has no physical side effects, so you can feel at ease.
- It’s best to distribute stimulation evenly.
→ If you sleep only on one side or stimulate only in a biased direction, it can become asymmetrical.
But because the brain seeks balance, other areas grow faster.

🧬 Brain expansion isn’t only about the brain
They say that as the brain grows, overall body proportions are also subtly adjusted.
For example, height, shoulders, and neck lines can become more natural and solid.
It works almost like an instinct—as if the universe is restoring balance.
For me, at first, the centerline from the crown to the forehead grew first,
and then the back and sides of my head gradually became more pronounced.
It came after a storm of intense emotions had passed,
wrapping around me like a wave of calm.
And as if to prove it,
I often experienced a thin, shell-like layer lifting off on my scalp.
After getting a massage at the salon, or when looking in the mirror after releasing painful emotions,
I repeatedly found a thin, flat layer stuck to the left side of my bangs or the center of my crown—
again and again.
For me, it was a clear sign that “my brain is growing.”

✨ This isn’t just a tip—it’s a “life cheat code.”
Only now do I understand.
Meditation isn’t just healing or mind management.
Meditation that grows your brain is a tool for redesigning your entire life.
It even strengthens emotional stability, physical balance, clarity of thought,
and the energy that draws your life in the direction you want.
I don’t know whether others will believe it,
but I wanted to put my experience into words.
This is my precious record,
and someday, something that becomes my memory…
