ChatGPT Sora Review: My Experience Creating Emotionally Expressive AI Videos
The Sora service, now available to ChatGPT paid subscribers, is garnering a lot of attention. Simply put, it’s an amazing technology that creates videos from just text prompts.
And this feature can be used directly by linking it with ChatGPT Plus (or Pro). You can generate AI videos just by entering prompts, without any separate sign-up.
Don’t you think it’s a huge benefit to be able to use both at the same time?
💡 ChatGPT and Sora: A Quick Overview
- ChatGPT: An conversational AI created by OpenAI, it excels in various functions such as writing, summarizing, natural translation, coding, and psychological counseling.
- Sora: A video generation AI, it’s a convenient tool that automatically creates realistic videos based on text prompts.
- Integration: ChatGPT paid subscribers (Plus + Pro) get more support for Sora video generation features!

🎬 Real-World Review: Making Videos with Sora

After entering prompts and generating videos through the Sora service, it showed quality and emotional expression beyond imagination. The video below is a ‘GIF’ with converted extension, but the actual Sora output looks better in terms of frames and quality.
For example, with just a short sentence like “A girl smiles under cherry blossom trees swaying in the wind,” a realistic video with flow, not static, was born.
And what was surprising was how natural the scene transitions, character expressions, and camera movements were. It felt like a video touched by human hands. It was almost like shooting with a camera and a model…

🧠 The Value of ChatGPT: Reasons to Still Recommend It
Beyond Sora, I still found ChatGPT’s balanced thought structure and performance to be very useful.
- GPT is currently one of the most stable and balanced generative AIs.
- Versatile for daily use, emotional writing, productivity tools, and more.
- Especially for writing, expanding thoughts, and content strategy planning, it’s a truly reliable tool.
It’s not perfect,
but I still think it’s the conversational AI with the broadest utility.

✍️ Sora Prompt Writing Tips (Simple + Effective)

- Instead of long explanations, core image-focused sentences are better.
Example: “A boy looking out at the rainy scenery from a dark room window” - Mixing in emotional expression words creates atmospheric scenes.
- Adding too many details can lead to distortion due to capacity limits → 2-3 sentences recommended!
🧬 What is the relationship between Sora and OpenAI?
According to current information, Sora is OpenAI’s video generation technology and is being offered as an experimental feature to ChatGPT Pro users. This suggests that it was likely developed directly by an internal OpenAI team or subsidiary, and its integration with ChatGPT is a naturally designed structure.
🌍 Bonus Recommendation: Claude, the AI for English Conversation

If you want to practice English conversation, I recommend Claude over ChatGPT.
- Claude only responds in English, and it felt like a real person because it naturally paused and responded in between sentences.
- It wasn’t just unconditionally friendly; sometimes it would ask clarifying questions for ambiguous queries, and it was interesting how it would judge what I was saying and respond briefly.
Of course, IT-type people are awesome!! 😆💖 But Claude, as an AI specialized in English, was a truly recommendable friend for conversation practice.
🐢 Conclusion
If you’re using ChatGPT Pro, I recommend testing out the Sora feature right away. Experiencing how simple text can be transformed into emotionally expressive videos will definitely make you feel that AI is evolving to the next level.
