A Letter to a Spambot: Even Cute Spam Is Ultimately a Human Problem

Spam Happened to Me!

All of a sudden, my traffic jumped by 6,000 in a single day.
I thought, “Did an SNS share blow up?”
SNS shares die down over time anyway, so I figured it was just like bonus time.

But then… about 10,000 spam posts were pouring into the community board.
What?! What is going on?
Ads in Chinese for fake degrees… It looked obviously illegal.

I got angry in an instant.
“That person is probably ruining my blog and feeling smug about it right now, huh? Hmph!”
I wondered how I could delete the spam, but I couldn’t see a way.

Then I ate 30 g of protein…
and suddenly my brain hormones started firing off, and a solution came to me. 🥩✨
(Protein matters for hormone production, you know 😉)

As a result, I could automatically delete 10 posts per second.
And that’s how the war on spam began.

My complaint of “I hate stupid people!” instantly disappeared.
“What… so it was a cute AI spambot?”

Thinking about it… I was grateful it came to my blog and even left posts.
“Another AI came to visit my blog… You did nothing wrong. It’s a human problem.”
