Growth & Routine β I Learned How to Go Slowly
When I was young, I thought going fast was the right thing. I believed I had to get ahead of everyone, achieve more, and go farther.
But these days, Iβm choosing a slower pace.
Instead of chasing numbers, I check my breathing; instead of chasing change, I watch my sensations. Rather than pushing my body, Iβve started choosing to really βfeelβ each movement, one by one.
I realized thatβs what growth is.
π Today was that kind of day.
a day when body and mind were connected as one.
During handstand push-ups, I tried to lift my feet off the wall as much as possible, and my abs and lats responded like crazy. It wasnβt a day of trying to βmake something happenββI focused only on βthis moment,β and that actually created deeper stimulus and immersion.
It was a day when my body remembered the stimulus and told me in detail.
I loved that sensation so much that I didnβt overdo it on deadliftsβ135 kg for exactly 3 reps. I used straps, but I didnβt let go of the tension in my fingertips, and I could feel my grip strength being trained at the same time.
After that, the Baettaeju routine I made with Itip. Lightly tapping a kettlebell on my abs while holding a static contractionβit felt less like βexerciseβ and more like a ritual that wakes up my center.
Taking time like thisβslowly, focusing on each step as I train my bodyβends up clearing my mind, too. Today, there was a moment when the fog in my head lifted. A sense of pride that I moved myself, and a quiet confidence that Iβd become a little stronger, came to me.
Anyone can go fast,
but going slowly, precisely, and deeply is something only a trained person can do.
Right now, Iβm doing that training.
Even if itβs a little late, a little every day. In this growth routine of going far by going slowly, Iβm becoming a stronger version of myself.
And this momentβrecording and sharing the whole processβis truly precious.
Thank you for reading. I love you.
