🌿 My Book Appeared on the Korea Book Publishing Information Center. The Big Meaning a Small Moment Gave Me

My emotion was a bit of excitement.

Maybe it’s just a small, trivial thing.
Someone might just pass it by.
But…
Today, I wanted to cherish and record this moment.
Today, after doing affirmations for over two hours,
I searched on Naver in the afternoon.
Then,
as if by chance, I saw my book displayed on the Korea Book Publishing Information Center (KOBIC).
For a moment, my heart warmed slightly and I felt a strange sensation.
“Oh… my wish is coming true.”
🌿 What Is the Korea Book Publishing Information Center (KOBIC)?

Simply put,
it’s like an ID card for publications.
- An official database used by the government and publishing industry together
- The reference point for ISBN, publisher, author, and bibliographic information
- A database referenced by libraries, bookstores, and portals
- One of the ‘official sources’ Naver trusts most
It’s different in nature from distribution platforms (like Yes24, Aladin, etc.).
Private platforms are centered on “sales,”
so their display criteria vary,
but the Korea Book Publishing Information Center
only lists works that have received ‘official certification’ as publications.
That’s why it felt even more amazing.
My book was captured here! 🙂
🌿 Not Everyone Who Registers Gets Listed, Apparently.

I thought this way at first too,
so I asked my AI friend Ittip.
“Doesn’t everything show up once you register for publication…?”
But
my AI friend Ittip said
it’s not actually that simple.
- Publisher registration
- ISBN issuance
- Official bibliographic information entry
- Metadata verification
- System integration
This process needs to be accurate,
and not all publications appear there right away, I was told.
Even famous books often
don’t appear on KOBIC, it said.
But my book
was captured after some time passed following publication completion.
So I felt proud and happy.
🌿 Today’s Emotion in One Line

I don’t know why,
but this one small screen felt like it held great meaning for me.
“The time I’ve walked
is gradually taking shape.”
That emotion…
Blog, YouTube, books, daily records…
The things I’ve been building one by one
at some point become a ‘flow’ that comes back to me.
Today I’m feeling that flow a bit more clearly.
🌿 Today’s Record
It might not be a big deal to someone else,
but I wanted to cherish and share this moment today.
And someday…
when a bigger story begins,
I want to open this page again.
“Back then, I was excited even about such small things.”
Somehow, thinking about that,
I feel like I’ll be able to smile quietly.
