That&#8217;s why I want to document this process today. <\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"345\" height=\"333\" src=\"https:\/\/sinbidays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/One-handed-push-up.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3596\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sinbidays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/One-handed-push-up.jpg 345w, https:\/\/sinbidays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/One-handed-push-up-300x290.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 345px) 100vw, 345px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Initial Problems<\/h2>\n\n<p>When I first attempted the one-handed push-up, the biggest issue was that <strong>my torso twisted as I descended<\/strong>.<br\/>As I struggled to maintain balance, my angle became unstable, and eventually my body tilted diagonally instead of staying in a straight line.<\/p>\n\n<p>This was true even when wearing a 12kg weighted vest.<br\/>Back then, I simply thought, &#8220;Maybe my form looks a bit different because I have broad shoulders.&#8221;<br\/>In reality, my form was wrong, but I didn&#8217;t notice and mistakenly thought <strong>&#8220;I did it!&#8221;<\/strong><br\/>Looking back now, it makes me laugh. \ud83d\ude05<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"343\" height=\"279\" src=\"https:\/\/sinbidays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/One-handed-push-up-posture.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3595\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sinbidays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/One-handed-push-up-posture.jpg 343w, https:\/\/sinbidays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/One-handed-push-up-posture-300x244.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 343px) 100vw, 343px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Form Correction Process<\/h2>\n\n<p>Once I recognized the problem, the solution became clear.<br\/>I reduced the weight to a <strong>7kg vest<\/strong> and tried again, this time focusing on form.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Bodyweight attempt<\/strong> \u2192 I descended more easily than expected and got closer to proper form. The surprise gave me more confidence! <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Maintaining upper body alignment<\/strong> \u2192 I kept my core tight and constantly focused on preventing my body from collapsing to one side.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Adjusting leg spacing<\/strong> \u2192 Instead of spreading my legs wide like you often see on TV, I kept my feet about <strong>45 degrees<\/strong> apart for stability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Eliminating the twist<\/strong> \u2192 Finally! Looking back, it gave me chills. <\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"757\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/sinbidays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/One-handed-push-up-correct-posture-target.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3599\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sinbidays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/One-handed-push-up-correct-posture-target.jpg 757w, https:\/\/sinbidays.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/One-handed-push-up-correct-posture-target-300x198.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 757px) 100vw, 757px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Future Plans<\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Right now I&#8217;m maintaining balance with my legs about 45 degrees apart, but going forward I&#8217;ll gradually narrow the spacing to aim for <strong>completely proper form<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once proper form becomes stable, I plan to increase the weight again, challenging myself with <strong>10kg \u2192 12kg<\/strong> and beyond.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ultimate goal isn&#8217;t just increasing weight, but achieving perfect control over <strong>core, balance, and breathing<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong><br\/><br\/>\u25bc One-handed pull-ups were easier using a band \ud83d\ude42<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-shinbidays wp-block-embed-shinbidays\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"6vpcd6cAaS\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sinbidays.com\/en\/one-arm-pullup-band-training\/\">Can you really do a one-arm pull-up?
