AI Ratings Review - Our hands-on experience with facial recognition sites (with calibration slices)

😆 What's all the fuss about “AI hype”?
“You've heard the phrase ”AI facial evaluation" a lot lately, haven't you?
At first, I laughed and said, ‘No, AI is judging faces? What is that?’ But then I went into the community or Instagram or TikTok and people were sharing their scores and going crazy.
In Korean culture Evaluate your appearancehas actually been around for a while.
- When I was in school, there was a silly fad called “handsome/beauty ranking”,
- Back in the days of Cyworld Post selfies and compliment your looks with commentsIt was popular to receive,
- More recently, there's been a culture of trying to make yourself look prettier with Instagram filters and selfie apps (like Snow).
Eventually AI reviewsis the “digital fun factor” that is an extension of this culture.
The difference is that it's evaluated by a machine, not a human, which makes it more exciting and sometimes scary.
🔎 AI reviews, what sites are they?

There are three representative sites that I've used myself.
You can rest assured that all of your uploaded photos are not stored separately.
- AI Face
- A simple structure that tells you your score in a straightforward way.
- Clean UI + shareable design.
- I personally found this to be the most satisfying.
- Facetest
- “True to the concept of ”honesty," the scoring is tight.
- It's called “Mental Destroyer” in the community 😂.
- It's pretty funny if you can laugh it off.
- Test-it
- Analyze how others see you beyond a simple score.
- If you like lots of data, detailed results, and stories, this is for you.
- I measured it myself, and it was positive, and it was something I hear all the time.
🏆 Sites I recommend and why

I personally use the AI Faceis recommended.
- The resulting screen is clean.
- The score is simple and easy to share with friends.
- “One number” is more impactful than an overly complicated explanation.
When I looked at the community, I saw that friends were comparing scores, making fun of each other, using it as a topic of conversation, and especially enjoying it more lightheartedly because it's just a score.
I was personally surprised that my estimated age, number of number picks, confessions, and even Instagram followers were so close. I've been told that my age is supposed to be during, and my actual physical age is at least 4 years younger, so I guess I hit the mark.
When I saw the appearance score, I was like, ‘What the hell!’ but I just laughed it off because I was doing it for fun.
📸 Compensated slices, score-raising tricks

There's a rumor floating around the internet that goes something like this.
👉 “If I can get my photo retouching right, my score will go way up.”
In fact, if you look at the reviews in the community,
- Brighten the lighting or,
- Even if it's just a little skin correction,
- If you change the angle slightly
Scores can vary from 10 to 40 points.
This is the limitation of AI: it can't evaluate the face itself, Photo perfectionin a lot of ways.
So maybe it's more of a “my photo score” than a “my appearance score.” 🤔
😅 What is the culture of appearance judgment in Korea?
After all, Korea is a very appearance-conscious culture.

- Countries where employment photo shops sell ‘retouching packages for employment".
- A country where “who's more handsome, who's prettier” is a topic of conversation from the time you're a student.
- A country where the faces of idols, actors, and celebrities are consumed like standards.
In this atmosphere, AI reviews are just Playwhich is fine,
The problem is that it can be hurtful if someone takes it seriously.
In fact, there were quite a few “I'm depressed because I got a low score” threads in the internet community.
But I would say this.
👉 There are so many people who are better in person than in photos.
👉 What the camera doesn't catch Mood, facial expressions, manners, and voice The same attraction can never be measured by AI.
👉 There's absolutely no reason to be discouraged by a low score.
I used to get told “you're better in person than in pictures” a lot in high school, and at first I thought it was a vague compliment, but now that I think about it, it's actually a pretty cool thing. Real complimentsbecause photos don't capture everything.
🧠 Faces evaluated by AI = 100% Is it real?

AI will eventually Trained datafor the evaluation.
Within that data are specific criteria (e.g., symmetrical faces, specific skin tones, proportions).
That's why the AI's score is never a Objective standards of beautyis not.
For example, an AI trained on Western-centric data might evaluate Asian faces differently, and vice versa.
In other words, AI reviews are just Machine-calculated valuebut it's not absolute.
💖 At the end of the day, it's all about loving yourself.

I personally think of it this way.
Appearance is only one part of what makes a person, and even that changes from camera to camera, angle to angle, light to light.
Rather, it's the How I see myselfAnswer.
There's no need to be upset if you scored low, and no need to be proud if you scored high.
At the end of the day, it's all about loving yourself and believing in your charms ✨.
▼ How about looking at effort, which is more internal than external?
🎯 Conclusion: Keep AI reviews “just for fun”
In summary, AI reviews are just MemeAnswer.
It's fun to play with friends, share scores, and boost your score with calibrated photos, but that's about it.
If you haven't done so already, it's a good idea to give it a try.
But don't take the results too seriously, just laugh it off.
And remember.
👉 “All the AI is evaluating is a picture of your face,
My real attraction is much bigger.” 🐢💖

If you still got a high score, why not enjoy it? 😀 You're in for a treat!
