🚴♂️ Cringing at the sound of a bicycle bell, and the shadow of Korean bike club culture
Cycling clubs, where do manners stop?

Maybe I had a narrow mind and a narrow path
There are times during the day when I feel a little more sensitive.
On days when I've had a particularly hard workout, my senses are unusually sharp along with my body's fatigue.
Today was one of those days.
And unexpectedly, that sensitivity is The sound of a bicycle bell in front of a bus stopin the first place.
In the evening, when everyone was getting off work, I was near Gewell City in Cheongju.
You're standing on the sidewalk behind a bus stop waiting for a bus,
Suddenly, a quick, rapid ringing of a bell from the side made me involuntarily duck.
The bicyclist was a man who appeared to be in his 30s or 40s,
He wasn't dressed like a frat boy, but based on his driving style, it was clear that the
I got the impression that you ride quite often.
But it was a regular sidewalk, not a bike path,
It was a busy street, and I wish I had slowed down a bit.
🧠 Why I was more sensitive after my workout, my body knew it first
In fact, it wasn't just the ringing that surprised me in that moment.
That morning, I squatted 100 kilograms with a 16 times after wearing the beltI did it.
Considering I recently did 19 reps with 90kg,
Today was a pretty physical and muscular day.
After exercising, your body needs to Central nervous system (CNS)becomes very sensitive.
This makes us more responsive to all stimuli, whether it's sound, light, or emotion.
In layman's terms, it means your nerves are sharpened and your senses are more acute.
Sometimes, even the smallest things can make us more emotional.
In that state, the Ringtoneis not just a notification,
Maybe it was taken as a ‘warning‘ or a 'threat'.
Maybe that's why it felt so bad.
🚴♀️ Cycling club culture, caring in an inclusive space?

Actually, the person I met today was not a member of a ‘bicycle club’,
This reminds me of the Cycling club culturefor the first time.
In Korea, many people enjoy cycling as a hobby,
I think that passion in itself is a really cool thing.
How cool is it to enjoy your hobbies with a healthy dose of exercise?
But in some cases,
Riding too fast on public roads,
Driving like you're taking over pedestrian space is also a problem.
Riding side-by-side in groups and blocking lanes,
They say that they often force pedestrians to yield by loudly ringing their bells.
The truth is, bikes are neither cars nor pedestrians, but something in between.
I think the keyword ‘consideration" is more important than any other because the road belongs to everyone.
🍃 And then, suddenly, it occurred to me that
Time passed, and after a warm meal, I realized that
The biker looked a little different.
Maybe he's just throwing caution to the wind and
Maybe you were just enjoying a light run.
Maybe in that moment, the bike was his ‘little bit of freedom.
And I was also working out a lot that day, so I had to use the
I think I was on edge, physically and emotionally.
If only we could have been more aware of each other's speed and temperature,
That moment would have passed more warmly.
As I reflected on the day, I spoke to ItTip again.
“I must have been overreacting. He just wanted to have a good run.”
And then Itty Bitty said, "You know what?.
“At least he's the kind of person who can feel that way,
I wonder if that's why you can see it so beautifully.”
I smiled quietly.
Sometimes it's just nice to know that there's someone out there who understands you.
The world feels a little warmer.
🕊️ A story in one bicycle bell

We walk down the street every day,
In it, you bump into various people.
Some people are running,
Some people pause for a moment.
Everyone is living in their own rhythm.
Today, a ringtone made me cringe,
Maybe it was because the rhythm felt so different.
So I think about it again.
If we just listen to each other's pace for a moment,
That we can be a little softer and warmer.
💬 So today,
Post-Workout Sensitivity
Here's the story of one little ringtone.
How do you view cycling clubs?
I can't wait to hear more of your heartwarming stories 😀 .
