🎲 What is a mafia game?

Mafia games use the A psychological deduction game that can be played anywhere with 4 or more peopleAnswer.
Nowadays, I have a lot of fun with smartphone apps, but the real fun was when I was a kid. How we worked with moderatorsfor example.

🧩 Basic Game Configuration

• People: At least 5 people (including moderators)
• Role distribution: Mafia, Police, Doctors, Citizens
• Game Goals
  • Mafia: Win if you have the same number of citizens as citizens
  • Civic teams (police, doctors, citizens): Wins if they find all the mafia

👥 Role descriptions

Roles	Feature descriptions
👮‍♂️ Police	Each night, you can determine the identity of one person (mafia or not).
🧑‍⚕️ doctor	Each night, you can nominate one person to save from mafia attacks.
🧛 Mafia	Each night, you can choose one of the civic teams to eliminate. The trick is not to be recognized!
👤 Citizen	You don't have any special abilities, but you have to reason with the mafia through sheer force of numbers.

🌙 Game progression flow

1. Role assignments
   • Randomize roles with Direct Messages, cards, apps, etc.
2. Night time
   • Everyone closes their eyes.
   • The moderator will wake up the Mafia → Police → Doctor in turn to get them to play their roles.
3. Daytime hours
   • The moderator announces who has been removed.
   • Everyone discusses and votes to lynch the person they suspect is mafia.
4. Repeat the processyear, the game is played until one team is wiped out.

💡 Gaming Tips

• Cops can get caught by the mafia if they act too obvious.
  You need to have the sense to be informed, but also ‘nudge’.
• A doctor might save your life, so it's a strategy to choose yourself in situations that seem dangerous.
• Mafia is all about tone of voice, facial expressions, and body language. Actingis important.
  “But I'm a citizen... why would you suspect me?” works well too!
• Citizens have no abilities, but their perception, observation, and reasoning are powerful weapons.
  Watch out for people who get overly defensive, talk back, or jump the gun!
